CLI reference

RSFQ logic

Fluxus v0 command line: analytic cQED oracle, QEM surrogate, frequency-collision yield Monte Carlo, inverse design, and the process registry. v0 numbers come from closed-form physics, not an EM solver. The CLI runs the engine in-process: no server and no key.

Exit codes

0 success, 2 bad input, 3 REFUSED (a well-formed request outside the engine's validity envelope -- a result, not an error). An out-of-envelope cell is not an error: it exits 0 with abstained set and the analytic oracle's answer.

fluxus sfq

RSFQ surrogate: structural check for a JoSIM netlist

Predict functional status and bias/Ic margin bands for an RSFQ netlist CIR file. NOTE: from 2026-08-29 the netlist path ABSTAINS on margins -- the fitted heads read spec knobs and a bare netlist carries none. Parse, DRC and the envelope check still run. Use the API with a named cell plus params for served margins.

usage
fluxus sfq [-h] --cir PATH [--cell-type TYPE] [--json]

Arguments

--cir PATHrequired
path to a JoSIM .cir netlist file
--cell-type TYPE
cell type label for the output (jtl, splitter, dff, …)default unknown
--json
print machine-readable JSON to stdoutflag
example
fluxus sfq --cir path/to/jtl.cir --cell-type jtl --json

fluxus spice

analytic SPICE engine margins for an RSFQ cell (no JoSIM)

Run the WSL-free analytic SPICE engine (a JoSIM agreement gate exists for single cells; its results are not stored) engine on a named RSFQ cell (jtl, splitter, dff) and print its functional verdict, per-JJ phase-slip counts, and coarse-step bias/Ic margin bands. This is the exact-engine side of the fast-surrogate-vs-exact comparison.

usage
fluxus spice [-h] --cell {jtl, splitter, dff} [--json]

Arguments

--cellrequired
RSFQ cell to characterizeone of jtl, splitter, dff
--json
print machine-readable JSON to stdoutflag
example
fluxus spice --cell jtl --json
